History

United Rental Group Ltd was incorporated in 1991 and has been trading in UK for 20 years.

United Rental Group Ltd is part of the United Kenning Rental Group Ltd, which gives us financial stability and a long trading history with UK motor industry suppliers such as new vehicle manufacturers, asset funders, dealer groups, auction houses & vehicle insurance providers.

Our ultimate parent company Sixt AG was founded in 1912 and is the largest car rental & leasing company in Germany & Austria with total assets (2009 accounts) of 2.1 billion euros. Sixt AG trades as Sixt rent a car and is a leading international provider of high-quality mobility services for business and private travellers in more than 100 countries world-wide.

Founded & managed by rental industry professionals

The three founding directors of United Rental Group previously held similar positions with Europcar, Swan National / EuroDollar and Kenning Car & Van Rental and one was a past-Chairman of the British Vehicle Rental & Leasing Association.

The present directors of United Rental Group also have many years combined experience working with major rental networks (we stopped counting at 100 years), so this tradition continues. One thing is for certain, all are dedicated to continuing the profitable growth and controlled expansion of both United Rental System and United Rental Group.
